This is a painting of Dyce Head Lighthouse in Maine. The technique used to paint is called a "Pour". An outline of the lighthouse was drawn in first. Then several layers of paint were poured on one at a time and allowed to dry. Finally the detail was painted in. That is what gives it such a beautiful glow. The original piece was sold on the second day it was shown.
